  6. Description : This fully customizable calendar with notes, tasks, 
  7. alarms and contacts provides seamless integration and interactivity 
  8. with the desktop background. You can organize your data in layers 
  9. and share them with other people on a local area network. The 
  10. program can integrate with Outlook to show its appointments and 
  11. tasks on the desktop. Preset calendars with holidays for many 
  12. different countries are included with the program. There are 
  13. options for changing calendar icons, fonts and colors, marking 
  14. weekdays of choice and marking dates with notes and/or alarms. You 
  15. can have a text only version of the calendar and choose between 
  16. displaying one, two or three months on the desktop. Recurrence 
  17. patterns are available for both notes and alarms. An alarm can be 
  18. stand alone or attached to a note. If interactive desktop option 
  19. is enabled, the program accepts direct clicks on dates, notes and 
  20. tasks displayed on the desktop. You can set each note to normal, 
  21. private or invisible desktop view. Printing calendar data is easy 
  22. and includes an option to choose date range for printing notes. 
  23. Built-in address book allows you to maintain detailed information 
  24. about all your contacts, personal and business alike. Importing 
  25. contacts from Outlook, Outlook Express and Windows Address Book 
  26. is possible. Google and other web based iCal calendars are 
  27. supported through direct connection with their ICS files. Special 
  28. desktop pictures option will let you add some of your pictures to 
  29. existing desktop background. For importing and exporting calendar 
  30. data the program supports iCal and comma separated values CSV 
  31. formats. The program saves daily backup automatically. Tablet PC 
  32. users should not worry as the program detects desktop orientation 
  33. changes automatically. Finally, Active Desktop Calendar comes with 
  34. world clock screen saver that shows your computer's system time, 
  35. plus five major time zones around the world.
